Kindergarten is going great so far!
This week (9/20-24) in Kindergarten our theme is Families.
In math we are learning numbers 0-5.
We are working on sitting at the rug quietly and raising our hands instead of yelling out.
We are excited to go to the Library for the first time this week.
This week is also Safety Week at Manila for all the students. Wednesday is walk to school day. The Jazz Bear will be at the crosswalk in the morning. Thursday is the Bike Rodeo. All students are invited to ride their bikes/scooters to school on this day. It would be easier for Kindergarten students to put their bikes/scooters on the grass by their classrooms. This will make it easier for them to find their bikes/scooters for the Bike Rodeo held during the day. Please remind your students to walk their bikes/scooters on school property. Friday is the Manila Mini Marathon at 5:00pm.
Next week (9/27-30) our theme is Nursery Rhymes.
In math we will be practicing numbers 6-10.
Monday, September 27th is Minimal Monday. Teachers will be having Professional Development in the afternoon. Kindergarten times are:
Stott AM 8:00-10:45am
Butterfield and Myntti AM 9:15am-12:00pm
Myntti PM and Stott PM 12:33-1:45pm
